You can compete for approximately 40 scholarships awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $8,000.  The deadline for applications and project advisor recommendations is November 12, and selections will be made in mid-December. The Honors Committee does not require that applicants be members of the Arts and Sciences Honors Program; however, the committee generally gives preference to students who are candidates for graduation with research distinction, because they have demonstrated the sort of academic ability which indicates the likelihood of success in completing a major research project.  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the ASC Honors Office at 292-5104 or visit: http://aschonors.osu.edu/files/ResearchApplication.pdf.
