Please join us this Friday for a lecture by the renowned Native American historian, Jeani O’ Brien sponsored by the Race, Ethnicity, and Nation Constellation and the Native American and Indigenous Studies Program at OSU.
O’Brien is the author of many books, including Dispossession by Degrees: Indian Land and Identity in Natick, Massachusetts, 1650-1790 andFirsting and Lasting: Writing Indians out of Existence in New England and the recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in American Indian History, Western History Association, 2014 and the McKnight Distinguished University Professor Award, 2015.
The lecture will be from 11:30 to 1:00pm with a reception to follow at 1:30. Both events will be held in Dulles 168.
