Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Resources & Engagement

The American Indian Studies Program (AIS) has strong connections to the Newark Earthworks Center (NEC) on the Ohio State-Newark campus and to the student organizations the American Indian Council (AIC) and the American Indian Students in Engineering and Sciences (AISES), with whom we collaborate on various projects and programming.

We also have strong connections to other ethnic studies units on campus through our participation in the Center for Ethnic Studies at Ohio State.

For more information, contact Madison Eagle, who oversees American Indian and Indigenous student services (614-688-8449).

All AIS programming is free and open to the public. Be sure to visit the web site frequently for a complete listing of campus events, course availability, and Native news.
