Lucy Eldersveld Murphy, Department of History, will deliver “Imagine Them to be a White People: Fur Trade Families Resisting Racialization in the Era of American Indian Removal,” on Wednesday (2/4) at 5 p.m. in the Faculty Club Grand Lounge. Her talk focuses on the thousands of families of mixed Native American and European ancestry that lived in more than 50 communities in the Midwest in the early 19th century.
